Daily Habits > Once in a While Habits

Happy Tuesday fam,

10:21 pm and ready to rock.

Welcome back to Stay Curious — a newsletter I write once per week on 3 things keeping me curious, or I send one of you a 100 dolla bill for catching me if I skip.

Here’s what’s on my mind this week:

1. Our Upcoming Event with $7B Glean Co-Founder

July 14, our team is hosting the Cofounder of Glean.com, one of the world’s fastest-growing AI enterprise companies, and Hootsuite.com CEO Ryan Holmes for a fireside. Some fun facts about Tony:

  • one of the 5 fastest-growing software companies in the world

  • has a personal mission statement to see every bird species in the world

  • when he was at google, he created and led the chrome speed test team and made chrome the top browser on the internet

P.S. Next week I’m gonna share more about YEYAwards.com. But if you know a founder under 30 we should meet, send them here.

2. Back to Creating Daily Instagram Content

I used to be so reluctant to post on IG. But last week I created a 30-day challenge with my friends Kalli and Brit. Every day we don’t post on the feed, we e-transfer each other $100.

Guess what happened? I re-fell in love with content creation.

Why?

Because Daily Habits > Once in While Habits

And it’s led to some pretty cool things. This video in the middle of the photo above was with the CMO of Cadillac F1, and it’s up to over 1,800 likes.

I’ve noticed it’s easier for me to do something once per day than to choose what day to do it. And spoiler alert, I think most humans are the same.

So, get after those daily reps and make an anti-bet if you need one.

Got any IG ideas or wanna team up on a post? Shoot me a DM.

3. My Hot Take of the Week

A quote I’ve been loving recently is:

“success is taking a simple idea extremely seriously”

I think it applies to life, work, marriage, hobbies, and side projects.

Steal it if you want it.

But it forces people out of cruise-control mode, and into offense mode.

Liked today’s deep dive? Forward it to a friend.
